I knocked together this app to quickly generate code snippets for this website, having failed to find a comparable tool online. We can send code snippets in Teams messages but even that doesn't support Power FX (Power Apps' Excel-like language).
The design is very simple - paste Power FX code into box 1, and box 2 shows the HTML automatically. The last box shows an actual preview of the rendered HTML. Currently the conversions handles:
If I have time I will work on turning strings red and numbers orange, but I do wonder if some proper recursion might be required for that. Still, it turns this:
With(
{
Dur:tmrScroll.Duration,
Val:tmrScroll.Value,
// number of milliseconds for one screen pass
Speed:varSkySpeed
},
With(
{
// how many full passes have we made
Interval:RoundDown(Val / Speed, 0)
},
With(
{
// convert current timer value to progress through current interval
Buffer:Val - (Interval * Speed)
},
0 - ((Parent.Width * 2) * (Buffer / Speed)) - 1
)
)
)
Into this:
Which does the job! You can download the app below:
